AOPL MURA57 ELASTOMERIC ACRYLIC RUBBER FOR CARPET BACKING
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
AOPL MURA57 is a new generation Acrylic copolymer dispersion, Apeo free and formaldehyde free designed for tufted carpet back coating.
PROPERTIES & USES:
AOPL MURA57 latex is developed as a high performing, high tensile strength polymer that, when formulated into a Elastomeric Coating formulation, delivers improved toughness and water resistant Coatings ,with excellent adhesion to polyurethane foam and a variety of other coating substrates. AOPL MURA57 forms an elastic rubbery coating which has an excellent adhesion and cohesion properties ideally suited to carpet backing. While the adhesion is permanent due to low tg of the polymer, the chemistry has been modified to make it tack free.

Features Benefits:
Being a pure acrylic, it is completely UV resistant and non yellowing unlike SBR. Because of the unique chemistry the surface of the polymer is non tacky and does not attract dirt or dust. Very low glass transition temperature ensures permanent adhesion and flexibility needed for high quality carpets. Free from any external plasticizers. Low voc being water based emulsion.
STORAGE & HANDLING:
Store at an even temperature of between +5 0C and +35 0C avoiding frost and direct sunlight. Stir product before use. If stored according to these conditions and in the original unopened containers, the dispersion will be stable for 6 months
