Sunflower Oil Market Report – 02 December 2015

Bean oil also finished higher due to EPA mandate for Bio diesel. Ukraine near by sunflower oil also show short covering and some destination demand. India once again paid yesterday prices in excess of USD 890 for Dec shipment and was keenly looking to price some volumes for AMJ. Though buyers are still uncovered and scared with the current market situation they will soon come back as the spread between bean oil and sunflower oil reduces. Sunflower oil continues to impart direction to other oils. Palm oil as usual is in carry and sunflower oil more or less Flat thus making bean oil for forward months an excellent buy for destinations. Egypt is expected to do the tender today and may purchase bean oil.
