Asbestos bearing wastes vary a lot in their characteristics. Fibrous asbestos waste is encapsulated in bags and then made to undergo solidification and stabilization before disposing off the stabilized mass into secured landfill disposal cell. The non fibrous material is crushed, solidified and stabilized with an established waste to binder ratio of 1:0.3 and then disposed off in secured landfill disposal facility.
