Homeguard Water Based Wall Primer
Product Description - Indian Paint's Homeguard Water Based Wall Primer is a acrylic water based wall coating suitable for application on exterior as are undercoat to exterior emulsion.
Performance Features & Benefits - Indian Paint's Homeguard Water Based Wall Primer has good opacity and whiteness, which helps improve the appearance of the emulsion topcoats. Exterior wall primer dose not chalk & can be applied on freshly plastered surfaces that are adequately cured. Exterior wall primer does not require any water curing.
Recommended Usage - Indian Paint's Homeguard Water Based Wall Primer can be applied on a wide range of exterior cement plasters, exterior ceilings, asbestos sheets, concrete etc. as an undercoat.
Recommended Application - Cleaning: Ensure that the surface to be painted is free from any loose paint dust or grease. Any previous growth of fungus algae on most needs to be removed thoroughly by vigorous wire brushing and cleaning with water.
Filling: Application of WALL GUARD white cement based putty is recommended to surface imperfection such as a holes, dents, cracks are to be filled.
Freshly plastered surfaces: Must be allowed to cure completely.

Recommended Precautions - Kindly refer to the safety data sheet for Indian paints home guard. Do not apply when ambient temperature is less than 10°C or if the temperature might drop to this level within 4 hrs of application. Do not over thin or overextend the brush. Do not use strainers or any other colourants. Stir well and strain before use. In coastal areas it is not recommended to leave the primer without the application of the topcoats for a long period of time.
