Product Description - Indian Paint's Mr. Protect Elastomeric Acrylic Water-Proof Coating is a 100% Pure acrylic water-based hi-performance long lasting elestomeric exterior wall finish.
Performance Features & Benefits - Indian Paint's Mr. Protect Elastomeric Acrylic Water-Proof Coating has an in-build elasticity (stretches more than 150% of its original size) which with adequate dry film thickness can bridge hairline crack in the plaster up to 0.5 mm. due to the compactness Vertex Stretch resists penetration of water caused by wind driven rain and is coupled with excellent anti-algal & anti-fungal properties.
Recommended Usage - Indian Paint's Mr. Protect Elastomeric Acrylic Water-Proof Coating is an exterior wall finish that can be applied on all types of exterior cement plaster, exterior ceilings, asbestos sheets, concrete etc
Recommended Application - Cleaning: Ensure that the surface to be painted is free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Any previous growth of fungus, algae or most needs to be removed thoroughly by vigorous wire brushing and cleaning with water.
Filling: Application of cement base WALLGUARD putty is recommended for preparation of Surface imperfection such as holes, dents, cracks are to be filled.

Recommended Precautions - Kindly refer to the Safety data sheet for Indian Paint's MR. PROTECT ELASTOMERIC ACRYLIC WATER-PROOF COATING which gives detailed information on safety measures while handling the paint. Do not apply when ambient temperature is less than 10°C or if the temperature might drop to this level within 4 hrs of application. Do not over-thin or overextend the brush. Do not use Universal Stainers or any other colourants. Ensure that horizontal surfaces like top of windows, ledges Etc. Are painted with three coats for greater protection. Ensure that the hair line cracks are properly coated by MR. PROTECT coat at the time of application. Ensure that the final coverage is between 45 to 50 sq. ft / ltr for two coats for adequate film build up and product performance. Tinted paints need thorough shaking immediately after tinter addition as well as before use. Stir well and strain before use. Though the material is non-toxic, care should be taken to avoid dust inhalation while mixing & handling.
Recommended Post Application Instruction - For the best performance of the paint, ensure proper washing and cleaning of all algal and fungal growth, if any, at regular intervals of six months.
