General

- Lustre also, offer Coupling Capacitor catering carrier communication.
Salient Features:
- The capacitor voltage divider (CVD) of CVT is made of capacitor coils with the mixed dielectric construction thus giving high dielectric strength.
- The CVD of CVT is hermetically sealed with closed type metallic bellows for oil cushion on top.
- Design stress level in Capacitor part at rated voltage is kept low, thus imparting higher safety factor and longer life expectancy.
- The metallic bellows are located inside insulator top ensuring no communication with outside weather imparting long life to Bellow thus no maintenance required during service life.
Design & Construction
The Capacitor Voltage Transformer Type: LMT 14 consists of CVD: Capacitor voltage Divider and an EMU: Electromagnetic unit, housed in a bottom tank filled with Transformer oil with space provided for Nitrogen gas cushioning above oil. The Coupling Capacitor Type: KMT 14 consists of Capacitor unit mounted on Base stand.
