Drone, also known as unmanned or uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) is an aircraft without any human pilot, crew, or passengers on board. Apart from the UAV, UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) also includes adding a ground-based controller and a system of communications with the UAV. Different UAVs have varied levels of human intervention needed to operate. Some can be operated as Remotely Piloted Aircrafts (RPA) through remote control by human operators, or with autopilot assistance to fully autonomous aircraft without any human intervention.
