Operating Principle :

The LC oscillator circuit generates the electromagnetic field over the active face, energy is drawn from oscillator. resulting damping of the oscillator. This Change is detected by the electronic circuit to give output signal.

Enclosure :

Operating Temperature of Proximity Switches is O c to 55 c. 0 Temperature up to 100 c can be manufactured on request.

Protection :
AC Switches are protected against transients and surges. DC Switches are protected against Short Circuit and Reverse Polarity.

Mounting : : In case of Flush Mounting the sensing distance is limited to 0.8 times of the sensing distance for Non Flush Type.

Types of Inductive Proximity Switches :

AC Proximity Switches - Type PS 12 :
These are available in 2 wire and 3 wire as shown. These switches are to be connected in series with the load.
- Operating Voltage : 110VAC/240VAC/90-240VAC
- Logic : NO/ NC/CO
- Load : up to 500 MA

 

DC Proximity Switches - Type PS 13:
These are available in 3 wires as shown. Special models of 2 wires and 4 wires are available on request.
- Operating Voltage : 5V to 30V DC (up to 220V DC on request)
- Logic : NPN / PNP
- Load : up to 400 MA
