Shirish is the founder, chairman and managing director of Awanti Polymoulds. Under his guidance and leadership, the company has grown from a small machine shop to a world-class manufacturing unit, catering to global customers.
A mechanical and production engineer by qualification, Shirish worked for several years with companies like Kirloskar and Electronica before starting his own venture.
The Government of Japan and the Association of Overseas Technical Scholarship has recognized him twice in the last 10 years, for his outstanding entrepreneurial skills.
