'Deep' Fountains SPD series overflow standpipe drains are designed for use in fountain and reflecting pool floors as a combination pool drain and overflow divice. Asecurity dome top prevents debris from clogging the standpipe and drain body.

Specification Data

Gunmetal drain body, machined brass overflow standpipe and removal brass / copper dome top, stainless steel fastener, 2" or 3" drain and bottom female BSP connection, natural gunmetal finish.

Intallation

Run drain pipe from sanitary sever and connect to bottom of drain body using correct type and size piping as detailed on piping schematics. Use Telflon pipe thread tape shen making connection to drain body. Adjust standpipe collar to height of finished pool elevation and pour pool floor level with top of collar. Install standpipe into threaded collar and dome cap on standpipe. Prevent debris from entering drain line during installation.

Maintenance

Periodically check drain body for debris build up and clean as necessary. Insure standpipe is securely tightened in place during pool filling operation.
