Our nurseries extend over more than 100 acres and function as an integrated propagation, hardening and dispatch facility. A permanent inventory of over 5 lakh container-grown plants is maintained in graded polybags, with avenue and specimen trees grown to 10–15 feet before dispatch. Satellite growing areas at Vadgaon, Kamshet, Karla and Lanja (Ratnagiri) add further capacity and keep ready stock within easy reach of clients in and around Pune, Mumbai and the Konkan.
Every plant is raised through a carefully controlled cycle — propagated by seed, cutting or grafting, potted in a well-drained growing medium, re-bagged in stages as the root system develops, and finally hardened off under open-field conditions. Because our trees are container-grown rather than field-dug, they reach the site with an intact root ball: the root structure stays undamaged, transplant shock is minimal and the tree establishes quickly after planting. Together with scheduled irrigation, routine grading and integrated pest and disease management, this process helps us achieve a survival rate of over 99% on site.
