Safety Tips For Tyres
- Tyre Pressure : Recommended Inflation Pressure (OE) is to be maintained in order to get optimum performance from the tyres (Tyre Mileage, Better Handling, Grip & Safety). Check your tyre pressure once in 15 days.
- Proper Wheel Alignment : Wheel alignment in a professional workshop will ensure better Tyre Wear (i.e. no uneven wear), Better Handling & Comfort. Check for wheel alignment every 5000 kms. or as per OEM recommendation.
- Proper Wheel Balancing : Properly balanced wheel assembly will ensure better tyre wear. Check for wheel balancing while doing a alignment.
- Rear Tyres : Always fit new (or the least worn) tyre at the rear wheel position for better control.
- Tyre Wear & Tread Depth : The tread disperses water from underneath your tyre and gives better control. Regularly check the traed depth of your tyre & replace them when they are worn upto TWI.
- Tyre Repair : Outside In - plug repair not recommended. Go for proper mushroom repair (only in crown).
