Water Treatment Chemical division of Chembond, is a pioneer of non-chromate cooling water treatment chemicals in India, introducing these products in 1980. Since then, the company has grown its product range to offer the entire range of water treatment chemicals namely boiler water treatment chemicals, membrane treatment chemicals, raw water and effluent treatment polymers and defoamers.

We have a strong presence in the industrial water and waste water treatment sector where we offer chemical, equipment and bio-remediation solutions. We treat cooling water, boiler water, raw water and effluent and reverse osmosis (RO) membranes amongst other applications to enhance the plant performance. These products are used in large and heavy industries like Steel, Power, Refining, Fertilizer, Paper, Chemicals and Petrochemicals as well as in the Food, Pharmaceuticals, Beverage, Cement, Institutional and small industrial segments.

Water Treatment Equipments

Company has invested in adding water treatment systems / equipment and in microbial remediation of high COD industrial waste water. This places company in a unique position to offer integrated water recycling solutions to industry. The systems business is operated as Chembond Clean Water Technologies and is a subsidiary of Chembond Chemicals Limited. Our forte is in developing practical and cost effective solutions for addressing water treatment issues, meeting water quality requirements and in identifying water savings opportunities. We understand water well and have been treating it for industrial applications for 35 years. We are unique by offering chemicals, bio-cultures and equipment in an integrated solution with single-point responsibility. Our solutions span across technology platforms for treatment of raw water, process water, utility water, waste water and recycled water for removal of dissolved solids, living matter and gases from water. Media based filtration (sand, iron, carbon), resin based system (cation exchange, anion exchange), membrane based system (hollow fiber, polyamide), oxidative treatment (chlorine, chlorine dioxide and ozone), acid and chemical dozing systems and bio-remediation are some of the solutions we specialised in.

Bioremediation

It is well known and documented that microbes (Bacteria, Fungi, and Yeast), have the ability to degrade hazardous organic contaminants or convert hazardous inorganic contaminants to environmentally less toxic or nontoxic compounds of safe levels in soils, subsurface materials, water, sludge's, and residues by producing different types of enzymes, a process known as bioremediation . By exploiting their diverse potency, we have been successful in isolating and enriching these special microbial cultures and blending it into a formulation that could be used to address the problems of BOD, COD and Ammoniac Nitrogen in wastewater treatment. Our company has a well-managed culture bank and ready to use bio-cultures that could be applied for Bioremediation and Bio-augmentation in wastewater treatment. We have two sets of products developed.
