• 1948 : Establishment of business by Mr. Jashbhai Patel a Mechanical Engineer in the town of Dewas located 35 kms from Indore. Initial products were machine tools like lathe drilling and slotting machines.
  • 1954 : Shifting of manufacturing plant to the city of Indore.
  • 1955 : Commenced manufacturing of water control gates.
  • 1956 : Commenced manufacturing of precision surface equipment.
  • 1958 : Commenced manufacturing of bed plate / T-slotted plates.
  • 1962 : Entry of second generation of family in business Mr. Navinchandra Patel a Mechanical Engineer and eldest son of Mr. Jash Bhai Patel joins the business.
  • 1964-1972 : Consolidation to become leading manufacture in all the product groups.
  • 1972 : Formation of Jash Engineering Private Limited as a separate company located at Sanwer Road industrial area with a view to focus on water control gates business & bed plates business.
  • 1972-1988 : Expansion in facilities & consolidation to become No.1 manufacturer in India in water control gates business with over 70% market share and in Bed plate business with over 80% market share.
  • 1988 : Entry of third generation of family in the business Mr. Partik Patel a Product Engineer with Masters in Business Administration in finance joins the business.
  • 1996 : Converted into closely held Public Limited Company under name Jash Engineering Limited. Entered into Technical & Financial Collaboration with Schuette group, Germany. 20% equity given to Mr. Axel Schuette, who joins the board as a director.
  • 1997- 1999 : Expansion of facilities and addition of new line of bulk solids handling valves in product range.
  • 2000 : Entered into Technical Collaboration with Hollung AS, Norway for manufacture of Fine Step Screens. Jash become the first company to introduce fine screening equipments in India.
  • 2002 : Entered into Technical Collaboration with Hollung AS, Norway for manufacture of Coarse bar screens.
  • 2005 : Expansion in manufacturing facilities for screens and became the largest manufacturer of Fine screens in India.
  • 2006 : Establishment of new facility to manufacture bulk solids handling valves.
  • 2008 : Entered into Technical Collaboration with Weco Armaturen , Germany to offer its range of valves in Asian markets and other markets.
  • 2009 : Acquisition of reputed company Sureseal to manufacture water hammer control valves.
  • 2010 : Establishment of new export oriented plant of 50,000 square feet built up area at Special Export Zone (SEZ), Pithampur, District – Dhar, MP for export market. (Now called Unit 3 : SEZ Export Plant.)
  • 2011 : Establishment of new head office designed to accommodate over 160 people in Marketing, Design, Purchase, Finance etc.
  • 2011 : Acquisition of company Shivpad Engineers Private Limited, Chennai who are leader in manufacturing mechanical processing equipments like Clariflocculator, Digesters, Clarifiers, Aerators, Classifiers, Detritors etc, required in water and waste water treatment plants.
  • 2011 : Enter into technical collaboration with Rehart, Germany to manufacture Archimedes screw pumps and Hydro power generator.
  • 2012 : Establishment of another new plant comprising of 65,000 square feet built up area for Stainless steel products and 85,000 square feet for Carbon steel products. (Now called Unit 2 : Fabricated Products Plant.)
  • 2012 : Pragati India Fund invests 5 million Dollars into Jash equity with a commitment to invest 4 million Dollars more, if required.
  • 2012 : Entered into technical collaboration with Mahr Maschinenbau GmbH, Austria for manufacturing of "MM2MM" Multi Raking Screens.
