Akash Rao is a Chemical Engineer from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (earlier University Department of Chemical Technology, University of Mumbai). He has then completed his MBA from College of William & Mary, USA in the year 2009 & LLB from New Law College, Ruparail, University of Mumbai in 2011.

Akash Rao has joined Rao a Group in 2009. He has been working on

• Marketing of existing and new products and developing a strong sales and procurement teams.
• Improving administration and coordination between the varied departments of Rao a Group And also on varied branches of business like.
• Growing the E-waste recycling at Eco-friend industries: From developing metal extraction technology, improving general administration, increasing public awareness on various environmental issues.
• Maharashtra Pollution Control Board Software development for filling of Form 5 environmental statement and Form 4, 6 & 13 relating to hazardous waste disposal.
