Relevant identified uses of the substance | TMTD is used as a primary and secondary accelerator or as a sulfur donor (vulcanizing agent) in most sulfur-cured elastomers in rubber industry. It is fast curing and non staining, but with normal sulfur dosages it is too scorch to be used by itself. TMTD is very popular booster for MBT, MBTS, and CBS giving reasonably safe, fast-curing combinations. |
