Forced circulation

Forced circulation

Forced circulation evaporators are highly suitable for applications that involve materials with high viscosity and other products that contain higher solids. Moreover, forced circulation evaporator is also used as a crystallizer. In order to obtain high concentration, forced circulation evaporators are used in a series with falling film evaporators.

In this particular type of evaporator, the liquid is usually pumped at a velocity of around 1.5-4.0 m/s through the heat exchanger tubes to avoid precipitation. Furthermore, the liquid then passes through the vapor separator and is condensed in the condenser.
