Polyester Tapes

Self Adhesive polyester film based Tapes encompass a wide field of Electrical insulation class B In the manufacture of capacitors and transformers for sealing the inner coil and for final wrapping. Available in variety of colours and widths. For core and layer insulation of transformers. CG-PPI CG1026, CG 1016 and CG 1028 are available with partial adhesive coating and fringing as per customers specification.Printed polyester tapes are available as per customer’s specification, for capacitor & coil application. Self Adhesive tapes on polyester film are also available with combinations such as paper, Glass fibre and polyester non-woven. This laminated Substrate tapes have an excellent strength , greater tear strength and very high tensile strength in both directions.These tapes are ideally suited for phase insulation and outer wraps of motor coils. Special combinations are also available on request as per customers specifications.

Specialty / Industrial / Splicing Tapes

Self adhesive tapes for speciality and industrial applications include tapes for capacitor ,bandoleering tapes also for industrial masking and studio splicing applications. Splicing tapes are tailor made to meet the needs of splicing in various films & paper/foil converting industry, for attaching the start of roll to bobbin or core splicing of roll in paper industry and splicing of siliconised papers.

Polyimide Tapes

Nomex# / Kapton# / Teflon# are Class H materials in combination with special adhesive is as excellent insulator. Nomex Adhesive tape with Synthetic rubber and Acrylic Adhesive are ideally suited for general transformer manufacturing industries. Owns flame Resistant property due to Nomex backing. Kapton Adhesive Tape with acrylic and silicone adhesive are ideally suited for insulation at very high temperature and for high stress conditions in traction machine manufacturing. Kapton tape has short- term heat resistance, upto 400 °c. Teflon Adhesive Tape with silicone adhesive has heat bond ability, good flexibility, good resistance to chemical, excellent releasing properties and short-term heat resistance upto 275 °c. Teflon Adhesive Tapes find its use in traction motor manufacturing.

Glass Cloth Tapes

• Tear and temperature resistant tapes with excellent abrasion resistance and high mechanical strength.
• Interface insulation holding and general insulations of coils and transformers.

Kapton Mica Tape

Polyster Glass Mica Polyster:

• It is a four component system very much similar to the PGM.
• There is an additional backing of Polyster film for reinforcement.
• B-stage epoxy Novalac resin or isoalkyd resin is used as binder.
• It can withstand temperature uotp 155 °c.
• It has got BDV as high as 48 kv/mm.
• Again specification are followed as per customer’s requirement.
