Description
Forge Shop, reporting to the Deputy General Manager-oversees the forging and rolling operations including Press Shop, Machine Grind. Responsibilities include managing Production supervision and ensuring production goals are met within the guidelines set out by the Sr. VP. Job Duties / Responsibilities Strive to insure the safety, productivity and efficiency of the Forging and Rolling operations through interaction with Production Managers, Production Shift Supervisors and hourly employees. Focus on quality issues by identifying problems in the manufacturing flow, research and analyze potential alternatives that utilize Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing concepts and effectively implement solutions. Consistently track and trend operations results in areas of responsibility, while constantly focusing on planning for the future state of the department.
