Washers are intended for the general use under the head of a bolt or nut in order to provide a smooth-bearing surface and distribute the fastener load over a wider surface area.

Available in many sizes, specifications, grades and finishes.

Variety metals washers are originally designed for the tool and die industry this type of washer is thicker than average washers. It was used on tools to machine objects and needed to be sturdy and strong. The general thickness of this washer is around 1/8″, which increases strength and load distribution properties and is why they are used in industrial mechanical, machinery, and power transmission uses.
