Fabtech Projects and Engineers Limited is setting up a 5,000 TCD sugar plant along with 10MW co-generation and 65 KLPD distillery for its group company, Fabtech Sugars Pvt. Ltd., at Mangalwedha in Solapur district of Maharashtra. Trial run of the sugar plant has been successful in a record time of six months starting from scratch and Fabtech is targeting completion of this project by December 2013. For setting up the distillery, Fabtech has a tie-up with Praj Industries, Pune - a renowned company in setting up distillery units.
