K-Pack System Private Limited was promoted initially as a water treatment division of the Zaverchand Group Baroda (Gujarat) in 1987. Starting as the agents for Pielkenrood Vinitex Holland, the original patent holder of the plate packs technology, K-Pack was converted into a full fledged company in 1991 to handle the growing business of water treatment in India. K-Pack was responsible for introducing this technology into India and has within the last ten years emerged as the market leaders in its specialized field.
K-Pack has built up a strong technology cell for in-house designs and drawings, which translate into quick and efficient responses. All system are CAD operated and of international standards, and meet stringent quality and acceptability norms of all local and foreign consultants.
Other companies in the group include Flexican Bellows which manufacture Bellows in stainless steel and other alloy materials and are the largest in their field. Heetu Chemicals is a division catering to trading activity in chemicals and related items. Corrugated Plate Packs The corrugated plate pack represent the very heart of our various purification systems consisting of a number of parallel corrugated plates (see photograph). These are framed in a housing and the whole pack is stiffened by a frame made from plastic material and/or steel. The liquid to be treated flows through the spaces between the corrugated plates.
The TPI Seperation PrincipleIn the modern TPI System, the separating surface area is increased vertically by the addition of a number of parallel plates mounted at an inclination. This not only affords a dramatic space saving but also facilitates very small separating diameter.
Sequential batch Reactors ( SBR Tchnology)SBR is an activated sludge wastewater treatment system for removing dissolved and suspended organic materials and nutrients. In SBR all the unit operations such as aeration, settling and decanting are achieved in a single reactor, all by automatic operations.
