Calcium Chloride Granules
Introduction
Calcium chloride has several uses it is used as a food additive, food preservative, for de-icing roads in winter and as brine in refrigeration plants. It is also used as a swimming pool chemical, in water treatment plants and for desiccating purposes. It also has applications in metallurgy, oil-well drilling, and rubber, paper, dye and paint industries.
Properties
The Calcium Chloride Pearls / Granules had the following Properties.:
- Appearance White Pearls/Granules
- Participle Size 2 mm to 4 mm
- Purity 96 to 98 %
- Moisture less than 1% w/w
- Bulk density 800 kg/m3
Manufacturing Process
The manufacturing process has the following steps:
- Liquid is fed through Nozzles and distributor
- Hot Air for drying and fluidization
- Exhaust air is treated in cyclone and set of wet ventury scrubbers to ensure a clean stack
- Granules cooling and packing in bags of 25kgs
- Fines are recycled back to the fluid bed
- Control PLC Station : The Plant is fully automated and is operated from central PLC/DCS station. No Manual Intervention is required.
