Spray Dryers

Our Spray Dryers are ranging from 5 Kg/Hour to 5000 Kg/Hour water evaporation capacity. Spray drying is a method of producing a dry powder from a liquid or slurryby rapidly drying with a hot air. The feed is pumped to a nozzle/s or rotary atomizer at high pressure. The atomizer or nozzle atomizes the pumped liquid into very fine droplets of about 30 to 100 microns in size. At the same time hot air is passed through air distributor into drying chamber. This hot air comes in contact with the atomized feed particles and removes moisture. The dry powder drops down at bottom cone of chamber and is collected. Air leaves the drying chamber and is passed through cyclone and or bag filter / wet scrubber. Powder not trapped in chamber is collected at the outlet of cyclone separator. Very fine powder escaping cyclone is collected in Bag Filter or Wet Scrubber. Spray Dryers can be of co-current, counter current, tower or with Fluid Bed Cooler type. Also the design of chamber varies according to products and operating temperatures. Spray Dryers are used in food processing, chemicals, ceramic and pharmaceutical sectors. If product is oxygen sensitive or solvent being evaporated is flammable, then Closed Loop Spray Dryer with nitrogen gas is used. We have test facility at our works. Spin Flash Dryers

TECHPERT Process Industrieshas technical expertise in process and mechanical design of Spin Flash Dryers for various products like wet cakes, sludge, pasty materials, heat sensitive powders and granules etc. We have design expertise in Chemical Spin Flash Dryers, Food & fruit cakes Spin Flash Dryers, Pharmaceutical Spin Flash Dryers, Sludge Spin Flash Dryers, Pilot Spin Flash Dryers for testing and R&D purpose and for other applications. Our Spin Flash Dryers are ranging from 5 Kg/Hour to 5000 Kg/Hour water evaporation capacity. Spin Flash / Flash Dryers are used for drying cakes, pastes and heat sensitive materials. The wet feed is fed by screw conveyor into spin chamber duct located at just right height. The feed cake falls onto the specially designed spinning blades and gets disintegrated. This disintegrated material gets smaller in size. Tangential entry of hot air into drying chamber creates a fluidizer effect on particles. Here the drying process starts. Hot air carries the disintegrated and dried particles upwards into the spin duct. In this process the moisture is removed and dry powder is collected at the bottom of the cyclone separator. Fines are collected in either Bag Filter or Wet scrubber depending on nature of product. We have test facility at our works. If anyone wants to try our products, one can inquire about the charges.


Rotary Dryers

We have design expertise in Sand Rotary Dryers, Casting Sand Rotary Dryers, Bagasse Rotary Dryers, Vegetable RotaryDryers, Effluent Mud RotaryDryers, Pilot Rotary Dryers for testing and R&D purpose and Rotary Dryers for other applications. Our Rotary Dryers are ranging from 500 Kg/Hour to 5000 Kg/Hour water evaporation capacity. The rotary dryer is a long rotating cylindrical tube, with gear and pinion & rollers supported by robust steel frame. Inside the drum specially designed lifter and lump breakers are placed for proper drying of the feed product. The dryer has a slightly downward slope towards discharge end to facilitate conveying of feed material by gravity and rotation of drum. Material to be dried enters the dryer, and as the dryer rotates, the material is lifted up by a series of internal lifters present along the inner wall of the dryer. When the dryer rotates the material gets lifted up and as it is falling back down to the bottom of the dryer, it gets dried. Hot air passing through the dryer removes moisture from the material as it falls. The dryer can be co-current or counter current. The dryer can be direct fired or indirect fired using hot air generator. In some cases flue gas is also used, if it is available in required quantity and temperature.


Steam Tube Bundle Dryer

TECHPERT Process Industrieshas technical expertise in process and mechanical design of DDGS dryers. DDGS dryers are also called as Steam Tube Bundle Dryers. Our design is at low temperature drying for high quality output and low steam consumption. More than 50% of vapor generated in dryer is utilized in evaporators thus reducing overall steam consumption in ethanol plant making it energy efficient. Our DDGS Dryers are ranging from 1 Ton/Hour to 30 Ton/Hour capacity. DDGS drying is a method of producing a dry DDGS from DWGS. The wet material is fed into rotating drum which consists of steam tube bundle inside it. The tubes are heated by means of steam flowing inside. The wet material passes over these tubes and moisture is removed. Our DDGS dryers come with DWGS feeding system, Cooler, DDGS handling system, vapor reutilization system.
