CHINO, California – (February 26, 2007) – Imperial Rubber Products, which manufactures and reconditions rollers for industrial converters, manufacturers and commercial printers, today announced the hiring of Stephen Huff as its Technical Director. “This continues the expansion of our technical capabilities,” explained Ron Hill, President and CEO of Imperial. “Steve is widely recognized as a technical authority in the roller industry and will add tremendous value to our collaborations with customers and new product development efforts.”
Mr. Huff holds two engineering degrees, a BA in Engineering Physics from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He holds domestic and international patents in his field, and has extensive experience in coating and process development.
In his new role, Mr. Huff will be responsible for ensuring that the company has a thorough understanding of customer applications and technical requirements reflected in all its processes. He will also be the technical voice of Imperial, continuing his track-record of delivering highly-rated technical presentations at industry conferences. His recent presentations, including at AIMCAL (the international Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators), have focused on topics that help users (Imperial’s customers):
