Bore Guage

Citizen offers a variety of Cylinder Bore Gauges for accurate bore measurement.
These Bore Gauges employ the well known principle of two diametrically opposed measuring points - one is fixed and the other is moving. The displacement of the moving point is transmitted mechanically along the stem of the instrument to the dial indicator.

FEATURES

Perfect Centering  Citizen Bore Gauges ensure perfect centering by use of a centering bridge. This minimizes any error even if the instrument is positioned obliquely in the bore.

Modular Design  All Citizen Bore Gauges have a modular design to increase flexibility of the tool. By simply changing the probe or by adding a range or depth extension piece the range or depth of the instrument can be increased. The customer needs to only buy now what is immediately required and can add later what is required then making the tool very cost effective.

Long life & high degree of accuracy  All models are provided with Carbide Balls on a movable contact pin. The body of the instrument is also supplied in hard chrome plating. This reduces the amount of wear and thus increases life and accuracy of the instrument.

Special probes & measuring heads are available based on the application, for example:
• For measuring o-ring grooves
• For measuring blind bores with center studs (watch crowns, cartridge cases, etc)
• Carbide faced center bridge or probes for use in extremely abrasive conditions

Packaging  All models are supplied with a set of tools for changing probes and wooden box for transportation & storage.
