Trip Dogs

Trip Dogs are used for operating Limit Switches for Simple automation of Machine Tool without the use of Programming Language or Coding.
They are used in linear positioning and controls, e.g. for machine tools, plastics and woodworking machines, transfer lines, loading equipment, etc. The length and the type of profile of the Trip Dog controls the cutting time, direction of cut and positioning of the tool.
Efficient make Trip Dogs are available in different sizes with Flat, Semi-Circular and Circular profiles in Aluminium and Alloy Steel. Aluminium rails with both plain and T-slot arrangement are also available.

TRIP DOG MODELS

Split Plate Type:
In this model Straight Slot rails are used and the Trip Dog is positioned on the rail by pressing the split plate against the straight portion of the slot. These dogs are available in Alloy Steel. Limit switch moves on the ground surface.

Split Lug Type:
In this model T-Slot rails are used and Trip Dogs is positioned on the rail by clamping the T portion of the rail between the split lug and the Trip Dog. These dogs are available in Aluminium. Limit switch moves on the Derlene insert.
